Competitive Obedience

Competitive obedience is exactly what you would imagine - obedient and well-trained dogs having their abilities tested.

 

Our competitive obedience training classes run weekly and are a great start for those wanting to begin competing at obedience shows.

Classes take place on Wednesdays at 6.30pm and run for approximately 55 minutes.

This class builds on skills whilst increasing the level of difficulty.

This class will cover heelwork, recall, retrieve, sendaway, scent discrimination and distant control.

Obedience competitors work at different levels depending on their own and their dogs experience and previous success.

This class is suitable for dogs & handlers that have already achieved a good level of training and would like to move on to competition.

 

Proof of initial vaccinations or titre test will be required to join this class.

These weekly classes are charged monthly by standing order.

Annual club membership is £10.

Spaces for this class are limited and are offered firstly to existing club members.
